Visited to check out what's available. Loved all the mature trees. Plenty of shaded and sunny sites. Office staff was extremely helpful and so pleasant to speak with! Restrooms are modern and clean and the heated pool was very inviting. Location was perfect too!

Unless you are 65 and older and like peace and quiet constantly RUN RUN RUN!!!! We were shoved in like sardine cans in our spots. They do not cut down low hanging limbs so many people were taking out limbs with their air conditioners..Literally when the camper next to us put their slide out it was on our site. No activities what so ever. Our power went out and other campsites around us for an hour. When we went to the office to inform someone we were spoken to very rudely that they already knew. You only get to have a campfire ring if they think it’s safe and they have to set it. The campsites are so cramped that the fire ring would catch campers on fire. We had to pay for another site just to have room for a fire and to park. After we paid for the extra spot we were constantly being asked why we were using that site… like hello.. we paid for it remember?? After asking for a fire ring twice and waiting 5 hrs we finally went and bought our own. This is more of a retirement community and the people that are there just stare at you like they don’t want you there. Not for children or people that like to have fun, play music etc. most of the campground was in bed by 9. The website says they have 2 play grounds… the “playgrounds” consisted of one swing seat. When I asked about canoe and kayak trips the lady at the counter couldn’t give me start or stop times. They had like 8 kayaks that were dirty, filled With water to rent laying in the mud and old style metal tippy canoes. The one thing I can say was good was the bath houses were very clean. They advertise a heated pool that is smaller than mine at home. . But it was clean. If you are looking for the fun and happening campground with golf carts, activities etc.. it’s not this one!
