Amazing trails at this location, very beautiful destination for a get away and not too far from civilization while still escaping the hustle and bustle. Been coming here for years to walk the trail that goes all the way around the lake. If you like hiking it's a great walk that'll take about 3 hours to get through with beautiful views of the water. If you own a boat there's also a boat launch to get into the water!

Very lovely and quiet campground at a fair price. The sites are spaced far enough apart and there is close access to the lake/dam and trails to hike. Some sites are not level, so bring your leveling equipment if you're in an RV if you have it. Bathrooms and showers were clean and they cleaned them every day. Has dump station, hookups, and if you are at a site without hookups, there are water spigots available. Campground hosts were very nice and pleasant, and one even went out of his way to find me a map for some biking I wanted to do in the area. ATT had good service for me to do work. Stop by Famous Frank's nearby also for some good food at a reasonable price. Side note: it seems they close early for the season. I'm not sure if it's due to the pandemic or other reasons, but they closed right after I left the third week of August.

Nice quiet spot with very attentive hosts. Bathrooms were always clean, sites were cleaned and raked for every new camper. Lots of rain, and hail, but we enjoyed our stay. Wish weather had been more conducive to using the kayaks; the lake looked great for that.

This is not a Resort type campground, it is a quiet family style campground with nice clean bathrooms, playground, and hiking trails. Boating on West Thompson Lake is allowed. Bathrooms are handicapped accessible and are scheduled to be replaced for 2022 camping season. Most campsites are large and level.
