Whitewood Campground

This was a quick stop over on our cross country drive. It was clean and quiet and we had really kind neighbors. The power for the sites was a bit finicky and we had to share our power outlet with our neighbors because theirs wasn’t working. Reserved in advance through the website. The toilets were fine, I didn’t have a shower bc I’m a bit picky when it comes to showers. You also hear the trains go by as it’s close to the tracks but that didn’t bother me much. None the less, I would stop here again without hesitation.

This is a great campground that we found while returning from our western Canada trip. They have nice showers and provides sites with no service/partial service/full service.

A neat, well kept little campground, right beside a fantastic golf course at Whitewood, SK. There is a ball diamond, playground, splash park and a swimming pool, although the splash park and pool are closed for renovations this summer. There are some fully serviced sites, although we found the large grassed sites with power and water really good. The sites are very well maintained, but are a bit open to any wind. Archibald's diner is a short walk away and offers great food at affordable prices.

The grass is soft, the water refreshing, the washrooms clean, in this campground setting; All-in-all A wonderful stay Save for the train Blaring many times a day. (Bring your earplugs :) )
