We had an awesome time at Wild Duck Campground. We rented a small travel trailer and hitched it to our truck. We stayed at one of the 30amp sites and had a blast. Our site looked out over the neighboring marsh - a beautiful view! We loved using the fire pit and the campground had plenty of firewood for purchase. Management was extremely responsive and even lent us an adaptor when we realized that we didn’t have the right type of plug for our outlet. Bathrooms were very clean. There was lots of space for our dogs too!

Campsites were very close together. I was expecting a peaceful weekend, but with the traffic noise, airplanes and trains that was not the case. The 10pm quiet hours are not enforced. We had very loud campers next to us. The office was closed almost the entire weekend so getting wood was not easy. On a positive side, bathrooms were very clean. Most likely will not return.

Highly recommend for a tranquil (child free) camping experience. The staff was amazing - Donna went out of her way to make us comfortable, and provided a variety of restaurant and attraction recommendations. The campground was clean and quiet, and the view form the peninsula overlooking a vast salt-marsh was stunning. It provides a home for egrets, owls, and falcons (to name a few the birds we saw or heard during our stay), and the sunrise view is amazing. The bathrooms were spotless and fresh smelling. They offer coin operated laundry and wifi (though this is best around the bathhouse). We will be booking again for next year.

I’ve stayed here twice since mid June. I stayed in tent site T11 on both visits. The lady at check in (Donna) was extremely helpful, friendly & knowledgeable. All the staff here are so courteous & make you feel at home. The location is absolutely perfect. It’s very secure & super peaceful day/night. The campground is very well maintained & the men’s facilities are perfect. Laundry facilities are also available. There is WiFi, but it’s tricky to get a signal in the tent area, so I just use my cellular data. The barrier at the entrance is closed at 1900, but upon check in you get the code for after hours access. To leave, it opens automatically when you approach. If your into biking, you can access the Eastern Trail a mile or so down Pine Point Road. The beach is less than 10 minutes. Portland is less than 20 minutes! I love this campground & I’m already planning my third visit for August!

Loved this campground. Well maintained, quiet and peaceful. Beautiful view of the salt marsh which my husband and I explored. They have a kayak/ canoe launch. Very pet friendly, doggies stations and trash cans everywhere, so convenient! Someday we will return but this trip was a 2+ week vacation for us from Michigan and loved it!!
