This is a great campground! Big sites, awesome sports and recreation areas, tons of activities, laser tag and an awesome mini golf course. An enormous water park and new pool are just about ready to open; its massive! The staff were fantastic. Our next door neighbor put a stake through the water line on a Sunday evening and our entire row lost water. The staff worked quickly and we had water within 45-50 minutes. We will 100 percent return and cant wait to try out the water park and new pool. Also, something that is overlooked; paved main roads! It keeps the dust down.

Go see Ray " The Marine" and his sweet wife Karen in the food shack under the pavillion. They make the ABSOLUTE BEST food !!!! Try the meatball sub. It's HUGE and delicious. And the "Sweet Thai Chicken Sandwich" is to die for.

I have been going to glen ellis since 1987 it was owned by two caring families it was the most enjoyable place ever they actually cared about your stay it was the most relaxing place ever, quiet time was after 9 no children buzzing around in golf carts beeping. You actually felt relaxed after a week there now is a completely different experience. It was open and now it’s stack as many as you can and triple the price ! Shame on you for ruining my family’s favorite place in the world. It was such a great family place not for just the elite with bratty kids in golf carts! Don’t bother thanking me for my years your corporation doesn’t care the Goff family actually did! My whole family children grandchildren are mourning the loss of our favorite place in the world. Corporate greed sucks!

Just sad - this was an untouched gem, a simple campground where you could enjoy nature. Now there are $350 / night cabins where the camper sites used to be on the river. Rest of the campground is an amusement park. Won’t be back. RIP Glen Ellis. Welcome corporate greed.
