Yosemite/North Pines

Very well maintained campground. My only complaint is how close together camp sites are, but this was not a surprise. It can be very difficult to book a campsite for the season and I had to refresh recreation.gov frequently to find an availability that popped up

Great location right inside the Valley. I have campsite 109 and it is right on the river. Lots of shades and the space is a good size. The restroom is located right across the campsite. Walking distance to the market and hiking trails.

The whole system of booking on line was so stressful, especially as most of the sites are booked well in advance. So I spent hours of my holiday scanning the app for a cancellation. However, the lady at the entrance booth was extremely helpful and that made all the difference.

First time at Yosemite valley! We had no idea what to expect camping at this location but the North Pines Campground was a very good experience. There was a decent amount of camping area within the campground with well kept restrooms and trash bins at convenient locations. We had a bunch of shade from the trees and just enough sky view to see the stars. We went during the beginning of September so it wasn't too hot nor cold. Each campsite was well spaced and there is also a store a couple of minutes down the road if you forgot anything. I highly recommend reserving a spot as early as possible to have a guaranteed camping spot. The park rangers were very nice and helpful as well. Of course expect bugs and other critters there. This campground also had food lockers just in case if wildlife enter the campground. We did not experience any bears but it's always good to be safe than sorry. Overall my buddies and I had a great time at this location and would camp here again!

It was a great experience the best ever with all of my family my wife, two sons and daughter grand kids. 4 unforgettable days that will stay on our memories for ever. You need to go and experience the woods. deers and bears a river and well kept restrooms. We just need to respect the plants birds and wolf animals. Bring your family and keep it clean.
